Standardized tests remain a significant factor in admissions at many U.S. colleges and universities, and a strong score can be a significant asset both in admissions and financially. We’re experts in this area and can help you navigate your student’s test prep experience. While we certainly have our recommendations, we recognize the importance of meeting students where they are, and starting where they are starting.
Regardless of how a student scores, 1-1 tutoring is the best way to maximize results. We adapt the student’s study plan to just the areas of the ACT that need to be covered. Sexton Test Prep uses every practice problem your student does, starting from the diagnostic testing, to identify and strengthen areas of weakness in both strategy and content. Tutors use our curriculum and learning system to analyze student performance right down to the smallest details. We do so because we want to provide the most individualized yet comprehensive experience possible.
We offer small-group, virtual, and in-person courses to prepare for the ACT. By taking one of our courses, students will become familiar with the most widely applicable ACT strategies and improve their knowledge of the most commonly tested topics. The skills and tips learned during our courses will provide a strong foundation for your student’s ACT preparation, whether they’re a newcomer to the ACT or want a review of the major topics before a retest.
All ACT students at Sexton Test Prep will be provided (for a one-time fee) the following preparation materials:
Written entirely by Ben Sexton himself, the Sexton ACT Guide is the product of more than 10 years of research and development. Updated each year, this guide comprehensively covers the content of the test in fine-grained detail and reflects all current trends in test material. Including tutorials, strategies, and lists of practice problems, this guide can help students at any level improve their performance.
We want you to be able to focus your energy on the test itself. We’ll do the planning for you! There are so many tests, dates, and preparation materials that it can be tough to make a plan. Contact us to learn about creating timelines, best options for your student’s preparation (including how we can utilize your students previous scores if they have them), getting set up with a tutor, accommodations (extra time, etc), and how we can maximize your student’s results!
