Sexton is offering a twelve-hour SAT course to prepare Derryfield students for the Digital SAT. This course will introduce students to the world of online, adaptive testing, as well as to the shorter, simpler format of the new test. Students will learn the most effective test-taking strategies, the new organization of the sections, how to attack each of the question types, and the most commonly tested topics – from colons to connecting words to systems of equations. In addition, students will learn how to use the built-in Desmos calculator, an enormous resource to improve math accuracy and efficiency. After taking this course, your student will be well-equipped with the tools and confidence necessary to maximize their performance on this new test.
Sessions will be held on Sundays from 6:00-7:30pm ET starting March 10th.
Free – Open to Parents & Students Sessions will be via Zoom.
