Joshua, a Chicago native, has been tutoring since his junior year of high school, when he helped fellow students with mathematics and science. At Northwestern University, from which he graduated with a B.A. in Biology, he had the privilege of tutoring undergraduates in intermediate biology and teaching incoming tutors the weekly material. And during his master’s in public health program at Washington University in St. Louis, he worked as a STAT LAB tutor. He was even requested to tutor professors’ kids! Having tutored for over 10 years, both in school and with national tutoring companies (where he earned a perfect 36 on all four sections of a practice ACT!), Joshua has experience tutoring a wide range of students, including those with learning disabilities. He specializes in the ACT and SAT (all sections), as well as AP exams such as Biology, Chemistry, Math II, and Physics. For academic subjects, Joshua can teach mathematics from Pre-Algebra to Multivariable Calculus and science from Biology to Organic Chemistry. In his free time, he loves working on strength & conditioning and taking mini road trips to local and national landmarks.
