Karina, a lifelong resident of Boston, vividly remembers taking the ISEE exam before attending Boston Latin School from 7th-12th grade. For college, she was awarded a full tuition academic scholarship to Boston University, where she received her BSBA, majoring in Business Administration and Management with concentrations in Law and Marketing and minoring in Psychology. She currently works for the state’s Office of the Inspector General as an Investigator. Karina’s family instilled in her a passion for giving back to her community, which she believes sparked her interest in public service. During her academic career, Karina developed a clear understanding of a competitive academic environment and thus strives to make the standardized testing process manageable and even encouraging for her students. In her free time, Karina loves to travel, cuddle her golden retriever, and enjoy the company of her family and friends.
