Zoe was born and raised in upstate New York and attended UMass Amherst, where she graduated with a BS in Mathematics and an MEd in Mathematics Education. While at UMass, Zoe was in the UMass Marching Band and tutored students in various math topics, including including trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus. Since then, Zoe has been teaching high school math in the Boston area, where she lives with her girlfriend and two cats. She currently teaches Honors Math 1, and a Trig/Stats course for seniors. She tutors for the SAT, ISEE/SSAT, and subject-specific math topics. Zoe‘s favorite part about teaching/tutoring is seeing students build confidence in themselves and their abilities. She has a student-centered approach to learning and believes that building rapport with students is essential. In her free time, Zoe enjoys reading, running, weight lifting, cooking, and exploring Boston.
